Every third weekend in September, young and old alike can visit tens of thousands of monuments, some of which are closed to the public for the rest of the year.

Parks and gardens, religious and civil buildings, etc. are all opportunities to rediscover French and European history through sculpture, architecture and art in general.

Like a botanist, you will learn to observe and identify the flora of the Renoir garden with the aim of creating a watercolour herbarium.

Sunday, September 22, 2 to 4 p.m.

A souvenir workshop to mark the departure of Pierre-Auguste Renoir’s painting Les Cariatides from the Musée Renoir: Les Cariatides.
Children will metamorphose the painting of Les Cariatides by using fabrics, objects, etc. to create their own scenes.
The painting will be transformed into a contemporary photograph to bring out its strong lines and materiality, creating a unique, graphic and colorful new work.

Giant Cluédo
Saturday, September 21 starting at 2 p.m.

Investigation in the garden of the Renoir Museum: a terrible tragedy has taken place at the Domaine des Collettes, home of the painter Pierre-Auguste Renoir.

Background: in 1916, Richard Guino, sculptor and collaborator of painter Pierre-Auguste Renoir, was found murdered.
Who could have committed such a crime?
It’s up to you to find out: put your detective skills to good use and solve the mystery!

This fun experience lets you discover the unique place where painter Pierre-Auguste Renoir lived with his family.

Game description: During the investigation, families will have to search for clues to find the murderer, the crime scene and the weapon used.

Ages 8 and up.

Claude Monet painted over five thousand pictures in sixty years.
After participating in the Impressionist adventure, he distanced himself and invented a painting principle that would revolutionize 20th-century pictorial art: the series.
He would devote the last thirty years of his life to these multiple representations of a single subject, which in itself had become secondary.
1h30 live lesson, followed by 30mn discussion with the speaker.
