Blue Bike

2,000 self-service bicycles in Metropolitan France

With 2,000 bicycles soon to be available in the Nice Côte d’Azur metropolitan area, it will soon be possible to enjoy the summer season by trying out self-service bicycles. To support this expansion, 250 new parking zones have been set up in the 12 towns served.

Cagnes-sur-Mer is now home to major self-service bike operators Lime, the American micro-mobility giant, and Pony, the only French player and start-up in the sector, based in Angers. They make their fleet of bicycles available on a self-service basis.

Service access via dedicated applications

Renting a bike couldn’t be easier! Simply download the mobile application from the operator of your choice(Lime or Pony) and follow the instructions. You’ll be able to locate the bike nearest you and unlock it by scanning the QR code.

With the introduction of geolocation, it will only be possible to rent or drop off bicycles in dedicated, demarcated parking areas. This measure encourages responsible use, as users continue to pay if the bike is improperly parked.
