Once upon a time, there were two hunchbacked friends who never left each other’s side and often went for walks in the forest together.
One day, one of them got lost.
At the entrance to a clearing at nightfall, he met a witch who taught him the “song of metamorphosis”.

To reward him for repeating after her the ritual chant: “every Thursday, every Friday, every Saturday”, the Witch cuts off his hump.
Back in the village, he finds his friend in tears, and explains how he too can be freed from the hump that has earned him so much ridicule.
